Student veterans may already bring substantial leadership experience from military service. This program provides a Baylor framework to build on that experience while at Baylor.

Leadership Studies Minor
A full academic minor that develops your understanding of leadership through coursework, reflection, and real-world application.

LDS 4398 Advanced Leadership Capstone
Apply your learning in a culminating leadership experience that integrates theory, practice, and personal development.
- Best For: Students completing the Leadership Studies Minor

Beyond the undergraduate options above, Baylor offers several graduate-level and professional certificates relevant to leadership.
Hankamer Executive Communication Graduate Certificate
A graduate certificate through Hankamer School of Business focused on executive-level communication skills. 12 credit hours (four courses), completable in as little as six months. Coursework can apply toward a Baylor MBA.

Future Church Leadership Certificate
A non-credit certificate launched by Baylor's Office of Engaged Learning and the Program for the Future Church at Truett Theological Seminary. Four online, self-paced courses: Belonging, Collaborative Leadership, Mental Health and Burnout, and Church Innovation. Open to ministry leaders, lay leaders, and nonprofit workers — not limited to current students.

Social, Nonprofit and Public Leadership (SNPL)
A Master of Arts and certificate program through the Diana R. Garland School of Social Work, in partnership with the Baylor Collaborative on Hunger and Poverty. Develops leaders for social change, nonprofit management, and public-policy work.
Baylor Law School Leadership Fellow Program
For Baylor Law (JD) students only. Requires a Leadership Engagement and Development (LEAD) class, a Leadership Challenge Course, 23 hours of Professional Development Programming, and service as a student-org officer or in a qualifying internship. Recognized formally at graduation.
